PLAYSPACE

Children’s play areas are continually evolving and there is potential to make them as interesting and adventurous as the imagination stretches. Australian Standards govern the layout of playground equipment and these are set in place to protect our children from potential hazards associated with play equipment. These guidelines include fall zones and associated depths; spacing between individual equipment pieces; and play equipment selection. There are various play equipment providers, some with cheaper alternatives. Mud Landscape and Urban Design ensures that all of the play equipment we specify is manufactured to meet Australian Standards in all aspects. We can provide comprehensive plans with playground layout including fall zones, surrounding mounding, planting and any associated works including BBQ areas, seating, or retaining walls.
